Working with a client is a partnership, and partnerships work best when expectations are clear from the start. The policies below exist to protect both of us — not as fine print, but as a straightforward agreement about how we work together.
Refund Policy
Headlands Ops provides advisory and consulting services. All fees are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled before work begins and no deliverables have been produced, we will consider prepaid fees on a case-by-case basis — but refunds are not guaranteed. Once work is underway, all fees are earned and final.
Cancellation Policy
Ongoing advisory engagements require 30 days written notice to cancel. Send notice to accounting@headlandsops.com. Cancellations mid-billing cycle will not be prorated — the final full period will be invoiced as scheduled.
Dispute Policy
If you believe there’s been a billing error or a service issue, contact us directly at accounting@headlandsops.com. We’ll respond within two business days and work toward a fair resolution. If we can’t resolve it directly, disputes are governed by the laws of the State of California.
